Maintenance and protection of jewelry

The necklace fell apart as soon as I removed it from the packaging. It's quite pretty and I was able to put it back together but the quality of workmanship is lacking.

The only thing I did not like is the ability to make it tighter around my neck and if you want to return it you must buy a box to return it in. This arrived with many other items in a large box wrapped in plastic. You also have to provide your own label.
