There is not a flange on this seal and so I don't know how it could NOT leak in a pinion application. I am returning it.

SEAL IN PICTURE IS NOT THE SEAL DELIVERED!! Do not buy this seal if you need the seal pictured. Incorrect seal! Very misleading pictures that should be fixed!
