I love the colors on these lights, normally I can't stand the harshness of regular RGB colored LED lights, but these emit pleasant "warmer" colors that are more pastel in appearance. I can actually look directly at these while illuminated without getting any eye strain. The colored caps are also a nice touch in replicating the look and feel of traditional mini lights. Overall a really neat design and excellent colors, I purchased 2 sets! I only wish the wire color was either clear or transparent so that I could use these for other holidays and occasions, as the white wire stands out too much, if it was clear it would be perfect. The length and quantity of lights is good enough to ensure adequate coverage on most trees. I can't speak to durability and longevity as I've only had these lights for a short time, but I hope these last for a long time! BTW, I measured the energy consumption of a single set and measured approx 2.5 watts in the steady on mode, so these are energy efficient!
