Fit like a glove, and as a glove it was a good thing there were two of them, I'm a slow learner. Driver sounds as good as it did new, use the shims!

Go online to the Springfield Speaker site and download the instructions. Follow the instructions you will not have any problems. Just be patient and be very careful when cleaning the speakers. One item was that on the first speaker the old surround was attached to the back so I thought the new would also, but that is not the case. The new one attaches to the front. Before I did the second speaker I called to see if you still had to remove the old surround on the back and found that you did not. This saved me a ton of time and worry on the second speaker. You may want to check that on your speaker before starting. I had never repaired a speaker before and found the experience well worth the effort. I was very pleased with the results both in looks and sound.
