I am so impressed with the telescope and compass....real metal..I don't know how to use a compass, but I think this one might actually work too!

Glad I took a chance on this with so few reviews! Excellent for the money. Lots of birthday gifts open but this is the one that caused the big splash. Hat went from head to head. Even my nine y/o granddaughter took a turn as captain when she could talk her 4 y/o brother out of the hat. No one could pry the telescope and compass away from him though. Only minor glitch is the compass if quite hard to open. Hoping it will loosen a bit with time. Definitely A+ for the price point

The telescope is my favorite part. Really works and is heavy duty. Comes with its own case as well. Compass also is nice and really works!
