This set of Tibetan Chakra bowls are nicely made and have great sound. Just be aware that the Tibetan chakra bowls don't go in order by size, the only bowl that is the same note & size as the Vedic chakra system is the Crown / B note.

They are indeed handmade and have very good resonance. Their appearance is a bit rustic, but this is expected in a handmade product. In my case, the package took a little longer, which was to be expected since I believe the seller had never shipped to South America before. Everything arrived well-packaged and in excellent condition. The mallets that arrived make some bowls sing, and the striker is very useful.

The product was not what is pictured. The item description is a lie. The bowls were all 2 inches smaller than the details posted here. The tones are awful. They are not tuned to any specific frequency or scale. The large mallet was moldy. This is not worth the money. The sustain of the ringing is better in some cheaper bowls. These bowls do not sing when dragging the propper mallet around the lip. You must strike them in an upward motion. This is incredibly disruptive to the meditation music these were purchased for.The pillows are clunky and barely functional.

These are beautiful bowls! The smallest is 5+ inches and the largest 11 inches. It took awhile to unpack them, they were very well protected. They came with 7 identical wood & suede mallets and 1 bigger gong-type mallet. I noticed mold on the biggest one and decided to throw it away. I still have 7 mallets that work well with these bowls. The bowls are super resonant, the sound lasts for a long time compared to the ones I purchased on Amazon in the past. They are definitely hand hammered and as I expected, they were not perfect. I got 4 of them to sing with the mallets I got. 3 of them won't sing at all or very faint. I think overall it depends on your expectations and what you are using them for. I'm a sound healer and I purchased these bowls to complement my 7 chakra crystal bowls. I use the crystal bowls as my singing bowls and the Tibetan bowls for striking since the sound is so beautiful and long lasting. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

The bowls are quite lovely- much prettier than pictured. The bowls hum beautifully together when struck by my little Dharma striker mallet with a felted ball or with the felted end of the strikers that come with bowls. None of the bowls will sing with the felted end of the mallets that are included with the bowls; however, they will sing with the wooden end of these strikers with some work; therefore, I had to purchase the Dharma Objects large felt striker (which was the only one that I could find on Amazon) which works well with all of the larger bowls except the 10" as this is a bowl that is difficult to make sing. You will need to get a large felt striker of some kind not necessarily Dharma Objects. My gong mallet was broken in shipping but from what I can tell it produces a low pitch that is pleasant. I prefer the other strikers over the broken one because it is heavy to my small hands.I mostly strike my bowls when I use my 1 crystal singing bowl in D. My crystal bowl can get very loud so the pleasant low him of these bowls is a good contrast. I had to take time to get to know the nuances of each bowl & I am still learning about how to make them sound their best. It is much easier to play a crystal singing bowl; however, they can be loud & unpleasant especially when played in a small room so I opted to purchase the Tibetan singing bowls for their melodious notes when played on the octave which did not disappoint. I just wish that it did not take so much work to get them to sing. The felt end of the strikers will play quite nicely when used with my small Himalayan singing bowl or my small Silent Mind bowl - just not with any of these bowls.
