Hole in spring is 1/2 inch - so far so good , as description says " for 1/2 hole .Large end of pad stud is 1/2 inch , but part that is supposed to fit snug is only 7/16 , allowing pad to move around and wear out / cut through stud . CAN'T USE IT -
