It took longer to get the old one out than to put the new one in. Fits perfectly, only a little wiggling to get it set and three screws. It would be nice if the spring holder was metal instead of plastic, but swapping out every few years is not a problem at this price. Good product, great price compared to OEM.

Hi All,This product worked on a 2005 F150. Took a minute to get it installed as there is a process to getting it on. Gas lid is functioning properly again.

IT fit ok, installation was relatively easy. But don't expect it to last long. My truck is not a daily driver. Normally one tank can last several months. The past couple of months has been unusual since I took it on a long trip. The fuel door was opened maybe 20 times. But fail it did. Installed in June of this year. It broke in Nov. The original lasted 19 years. So basically; this thing is a piece of junk. Save your money and invest in one that is more reliable.

Fits like it's supposed to. The spring mechanism seems like a better quality design than the original. Make sure you cover the filler hole before you unscrew the old one.

They claim it's a new design, well I doubt it.But it hasn't broken YET after 5 or 6 fill ups.
