I found the product easy to install and was able to use it right away. It worked fine at first and then stopped working. The lights flashed and I know the signal was coming to the receiver but not to the camera. I tried to figure out what was wrong. I suspect it is the cable to the camera. I replaced the batteries though I knew they were still strong. I returned it but intend on ordering another because it does exactly what I needed it for. I think I just got faulty cord.

The remote uses AAA batteries, which is good. My old one uses a special battery which needs to buy online. This one is much more convenient.

A little difficult to figure out how to set up for time lapse, but with some YouTube instruction figured it out, and it works well. Also works great as a remote shutter release. Would recommend.
