Stone fits well and can cook on it. however it is not an original ooni stone and it is a replica. I feel the stone material is softer then the original ooni stone (I did properly season the stone before use).

I really like this pizza stone. It is a good size for medium pizzas and it heats up well. Baking a pizza on it makes a crispy crust and I think the material is strong and will last throught many pizzas. Cleaning it is okay but it seems to stain from the pizza sauce. It is clean but without a scouring of the stone, it looks stained and dirty.The price is comparable and I think people that like to bake pizzas will enjoy having this.

First and foremost I made a crisp cauliflower crust pizza on this pizza stone. It 100% made a different in the crispiness of the crust. This stone is light too. Which makes it easy to get in and out of the oven (I am using it in my regular oven). The material cools quicker than my old pizza stone too which is good for cleanup. There are some issues though … it’s significantly thinner than the seller states. I do have some concern about it cracking if not handled gently. It came with a fine layer of dust on it. I don’t think it’s dust from sitting, I think it’s dust from the material of the stone, like it was cut or sanded and not rinsed which is weird for something you’ll eat off of. After an initial wash I haven’t gotten any more residue when running my hand across the top. It is also very porous which makes it a bit difficult to clean. It is significantly more porous than my previous pizza stone. Overall, Because it achieves its primary function (crisp pizza) well I’ve rounded up to 4 stars. I would say it works well enough to overlook some of the flaws.

This stone is not as thick as it states in the description. It is actually 50% thinner than the stated thickness. Buy a cheaper stone that is this thick.
