These place cards are beautiful with a nice sheen to them. That sheen does pose a problem when choosing how to write on them without smearing. With my inkjet printer and most of the pens I tried, the place cards would smear as soon as you touched the ink, even when allowed to dry for a bit. What worked best for me was a fine tip permanent marker if writing by hand. I also figured out how to feed them into my laser jet printer and that worked well. I’m glad they came in a packet of 120 since I did waste quite a few of them figuring out how not to smear them.
