These breakaway tabs were an exact replacement on the fenders I have been riding for years. Recent “encounter” with a pavement crack snapped the old ones, diverting my fender and struts away from front spokes. I was glad to obtain the replacement parts.

Unfortunately they wouldn’t fit my Velo Orange stays so I can’t give an effective performance review. The stays on VO fenders are too large of a diameter (5mm).

Release tabs were just like the original one, just not broken in a crash. Easy enough to put back on, always happy when I can repair rather than replace something.

Surprising that cyclists may not know that these can be replaced - front fender tabs. Easy to install and work!

These tabs are so that, if something jams up between the front fender and the wheel, it will release rather than violently stopping the front wheel and sending you over the handle bars. Some how, one of mine broke, so I needed a replacement. And these are exactly that. They are easy to install (requires five minutes and a screw driver) and exactly the same as the ones that came with the fender.
