Perfect if your needing to extend your strap. I'm 6'3" and like my guitars comfortably low. This extension was exactly what I needed. About 6 inches longer than the stock strap.

One of the Levi leather guitar straps I bought was too short for the friend I bought it for. This extension strap fit easily onto the Levi strap and made it perfect for someone 6’3”

Nice item. Very useful. I just don't know why this is the not the stock part for all PW straps. I have never met any one person who thought "I need a shorter strap" . This is for a weave in style strap adjustment which is a problem if you need to adjust yout strap mid set as it will take you probably about twenty minutes to get it right. All of my weave in style straps have so many holes that I don't even use. And if you want to use it for acoustic with the headstock thread, then forget about it because that guitar would be touching your chin. I am not sure what average body sizes

I bought I cheap cheapish levy strap for a back up for my flying V which was to small due to the strap button placement i needed a extension. After looking around I found they were £20 plus which is as much the strap cost until I found this for £9.99 it does exactly what I needed and keep my budget strap cost effective.

I am using these on Perri's 2" black leather straps.I'm a big guy, and I HATE swapping straps, particularly on my Ibanez Soundgear Bass, and my accoustic gutiars. I need a longer strap to keep the instrument from sitting too high.I found completely by accident that these fit, snugly, but fit the Perri's 2" basic black leather guitar straps, and color match perfectly.The thickness of the strap extensions matches the straps, slots for the strap knobs are cleanly cut. There is very minimal "fuzz" from the cuts.Long story short, this is a VERY basic strap extension, but for what it is, it is well made. If you need to extend a basic black leather strap, either a Perri's, or Planet Waves straps, probably others, this is a good, low cost way to get the added length us heavy folks need....

This extender did just what was needed. It lengthened my leather strap much more than I actually needed. I was able to adjust the strap to the length best suited for me. It worked greatThe only con would be in me, not the strap or the extender. I tried to save a few bucks and ordered the original strap in a 54" max length. It was next long enough so I ordered this extender. Now, I am 6' 6" tall, weighing 270 lbs. Because of my size, the 2" and a 1" strap connection meets right on top of my shoulder. It's not so bad for now, but I will be replacing it with another strap at some point and I will pass this one on to a younger, probably beginning player.

Für meine Bässe brauche ich breite Gurte, und weil ich knapp über durchschnittsgroß bin und "aus der Hüfte" spiele, brauche ich lange Gurte.Diese Verlängerung passt sowohl zu meinem Richter Gurt als auch zum 178B Perri's.

以前はstephの物を使用してたが、末端にボルトで延長するタイプだったので、緩んでしまう事があった。材質も柔らかい合皮でレスポールの様に重たいギターでは常に不安を感じていた。皮一枚になったのでこちらを発見、購入。丸ごとまんま交換なので、不安なく使用できる。材質、厚みも問題なく。地味なアイテムだが、ベストなストラップってのはなかなか見つからないもので、ストラップの選択肢を広げる役割を果たす。ストラップは星の数ほど種類はあれど、エクステンダーを発売しているメーカーは少ない。個人的にはマストアイテム。

Great Idea! For those of you who don't know, this strap extender replaces the strap extender that comes as standard with the basic Planet Waves leather guitar strap - it is quite a bit longer.
