I like this box, because unlike most competitors, it's opaque, so no one can see what's inside it without opening it. The only odd thing is, it's actually slightly smaller than Plano's regular, see-through 3400 series waterproof case; I sort of assumed they would be the same size, just different plastic. I actually bought this to use as a portable first aid kitl, but it turned on I needed just a little bit more length, so I ended up using the 3400 series box for my first aid kit, and I have been using this for more secure needs elsewhere. I like these boxes so much that I bought one each of all four sizes, and I would definitely recommend them to others, as they are much cheaper than comparable quality brands. I've used Plano products for over 35 years, and I will continue to buy from them.

This did exactly what I needed. Keeps a good seal, is pretty durable (dropped from about a meter up onto concrete and it's ok), and the clip design is great. Not quite at the level of Pelican micro-cases (but almost) but it's an excellent value and I'd buy it again.

I got this to keep my registration and other important documents clean and dry in my ORV. Used it the first time last week and got caught in a brief strong spring thunderstorm. Didn't think much of it because everything was in the box and dry- or so I thought. I just opened this up to put a spare spark plug in the box as well and found it was full of water and everything inside was soaked. Checked the o-ring seal was in place and there were no cracks or other defects I could find. Pretty bummed.

my husband uses this as a cigarette case. hes a construction worker and drops it off roofs all the time and it still works fine 100% waterproof we are avid fishermen fell overboard several times never got anything wet

We used this to put together a waterproof kit with a pipe, lighter and the devils lettuce to bring on the kayaks or dinghy when we are out boating. It works perfectly
