Use these on rectanglular plastic cat litter pales. Filled with water easy to carry to plants & let them slow drain. Didn't try on a round pale, might work since it uses rubber gasket & nut.

These spigots are easy to install on a 5 gallon bucket, reliable to use, easy to use and are inexpensive. I use them for anytime I need a spigot on something; fertilizer water, wine, or just water.

+1 for individually bagged for easy count and dust protection for each individual use+1 control of flow rate without holding the spigot+1 for the barb outlet to attach a hose to direct flow to desired destination where needed without having to carry the container, especially 5+ gallon+1 no leaks for any containers (1 gallon milk or 18/22 quarts Cambro) I've used so far.+1 for being plastic since my niece doesn't like the sound of metal when taken apart to clean... lol. And I don't have to worry about rustI didn't use the suggested 1 inch hole as I find it too loose on dry fit in a circle stencil. For the thin containers like 1 gallon milk jug, I used 7/8 inch for tight fit. For the Cambro food containers, I used 15/16 for a snug/tight fit. For extended use, the more surface the silicone ring has to grab on, the less likely chance for leak.As for the few complaining about the disassembly for cleaning and sanitizing, there's a trick to it: depending on your strength and precision control in addition to wet silicone rings. For me, I turn the external spigot to half a circle from the desired final position. Then hand turn in the inside nut as much as I can. Finally, gently and carefully twist the external spigot to its final position. To disassemble, do it in reverse.

We installed these on cat litter buckets and than ran hose to the rabbits with their little dishes works great. Love the fact I can shut them off and take hose off and move bucket
