I've normally used old school wooden clipboards for my teachers, but liked the color options for these to distinguish between classes for attendance rosters. I've only had them a few days and used them once for classes, but they feel sturdy. I figured that, being made of plastic, cracking or breaking was a possibility. But these, while lightweight, feel sturdy. More importantly, when I "flex" them a little they feel flexible, not brittle. I imagine they can still potentially break or chip if dropped or abused, but that pliability gives me confidence that they can endure regular use for a long time. So far, I'm pleased, and hope that remains with the passage of time. The spring clip paper holder at the top is good, too. Sets a firm seal on papers, plus the rubberized grips on the ends to keep things in place. I'll be interested to see if the spring grip loosens over time but right now it seems good.

I only am giving this a 4 star because they individually wrapped all 12 and it took longer than it should have to start using.
