I don't know how sewists and quilters used to get along without these little plastic clips, which are a fairly recent addition to the notions market. How did we work back when pins were our only option? In a lot of applications, these are a big upgrade over pins. No holes in the fabric, no stabs or pokes, no sharp pins stuck in the carpet....These clips are nice quality. The plastic is lightweight, but it's strong enough to be able to pinch them with a good amount of force. The hinge has a strong grip that holds onto sewing projects very firmly. Inside the mouth of the clip, the plastic includes a few very tiny bumps that help give added grip without damaging your fabric. These are also handy in the office in place of paper clips or binder clips, but if you're like me, every clip in your sewing room will be in constant use.Fantastic price, too. I will definitely order again, and will probably grab a few packs to give as gifts to sewing friends.

Great quantity of clips included for the price. These work great to replace pins in certain situations. They hold well and are easy to move or remove.

Sometimes you don't want to use straight pins when sewing. These clips can grip slippery fabric or multiple layers. Easy to use and the work very well. Thirty clips is the perfect amount for many of my projects.

I use these for sewing project bags, especially ones where I have a vinyl front on them, which are my favorite to use. Because traditional pins will punch permanent holes in the vinyl, we don't want to use those. These are also great for pinning out a cross stitch fabric piece on a card board back to check if it's centered before glueing or sewing it down. These are a little lighter than other ones I have bought but they are a lot cheaper so if I have to replace them after a few uses, I don't mind doing that. There are enough of them for tackling my projects. I just wish they had come on a more permanent container, the bag they came in won't be reusable.

I use these style of clips often when sewing. They work especially well on fabrics that you don't want to use pins on and risk leaving holes such as vinyl and leather, or of pulling threads, such as chiffon, silk. I usually buy in larger quantities but if you just need a small quantity, these are perfect. They have strong hold and work just as well as the name brand ones, but easy on the hands to open them.

These are just as good as my other sewing clips. The more I sew, the more I need. I compared them and they are not the biggest ones that are offered in these types/style of clips but they work well. These are not a type that open super wide so keep that in mind if you work with thick fabrics or many layers. I use these for working mostly with quilt cotton projects. If you use a lot of vinyl or leather they do leave little teeth marks if they are clipped on for a long time but they typically fade out and the material goes back to normal. I will probably order more of these in time when I end up using them all again with the batches of projects I make all at once.

I use sewing clips a lot - every day in multiple projects! Occasionally, I accidentally break a clip, so, after a while, I need to replenish my stock. That's what makes this set so good - I didn't need a full set, just some extras. I received 30 clips which measure about 1 1/8 inches long by 3/8 inch wide. I checked each clip for resistance and grip, and both functions were appropriate. The clips work well, and the price is excellent. I'll certainly order more of these when I need to restock again.

These light blue plastic clips have a good, strong spring that lets them really grab onto fabric and hold it in place as I sew. I like that they hold on tightly and don't slip as I maneuver the item but don't leave any marks on the fabric when removed. There are times when a pin just doesn't work well to hold pieces together, either when there are many layers of fabric stacked in one place or when I am working with a very thick and fluffy fabric like fleece. Then these clips are the only way to go!While I usually use them when sewing, I also use these clips to hold groups of papers together instead of paperclips and to fasten paper to the kids' easel. They are also great to hang banners and buntings out on the patio. They come in handy all around the house.
