I wanted a shaker with the oz. measurements on the side, so I wouldn't have to use a jigger for my pours.The glass is great, the printing is clear and holds up well to washing. The lid fits securely, but the top is pretty flimsy. Considering it's metal (aluminum, I think?), it has a LOT of flex. The closest comparison I have is that it feels like the cap off a bottle of Snapple. Remember the pop when you opened those bottles? And then you could flex it over and over, still getting that pop sound? Yeah, this lid feels like that. When I have my finger on the top while shaking a cocktail, the lid flexes, just like on of those old Snapple caps.It's still secure, nothing leaks, but it feels like it's cheap and made of inferior materials.

I've had issues with a lot of cobbler shakers in the past. The seal is either not great or two good. I've been tempted to try a boston shaker since that seems to be what bars use, but was worried that there was a trick to them that would make it difficult.So far, there is no trick. The boston shaker has been very easy to use. Seals easily, releases easily. Large capacity. I'm very happy with it.
