I ordered this queen-size mattress bag to move a twin box spring and mattress. While this isn't exactly what it was designed for, the dimensions worked out perfectly for my needs. A standard queen mattress measures 60 inches wide by 80 inches long, whereas a twin mattress is 38 inches wide and 75 inches long. The bag had ample room for both, so I didn't need to purchase two separate bags.The bag is made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE), a versatile plastic that has several advantages, including flexibility, moisture resistance, and chemical resistance. However, LDPE is not especially strong, so it’s important to handle it with care. Another benefit is that LDPE can be recycled, although it may only be recyclable a few times. It is essential to heed the warning about heat sources because LDPE has poor heat resistance.I laid the bag out on my truck bed and inserted the box spring first, then placed the mattress on top. I folded the loose areas of the bag and taped them down to prevent them from flapping in the wind. My mattress and box spring arrived at their new home without any damage.Overall, I am very satisfied with this mattress bag and haven’t encountered any issues. If you're moving and need to protect your mattress, I highly recommend considering this product before making a final decision.

I am very, very happy with this product and this price point for my move!! I got 4 of these bags and crossed my fingers that they would be thick enough to make it across country for a Uhaul move. When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised that the bags were thick enough to provide good protection from rubbing, dragging and moving the queen bed parts into the moving truck and fully encased the bed without a ton of extra material in the way. I ordered 4 because I also wanted to put the box into a bag and found that they also fit nicely. The attached picture is the box in the bag that shows the fit and how it has enough to cover multiple mattress thicknesses in the event you have a pillow top or mattress with a much thicker width. I highly recommend this product if you are moving and want to make sure your beds are transported with as much protection as possible.

This was much needed for storing a mattress as we downsize. We have really nice mattresses, but we didn’t want to get rid of them and we decided to get a storage locker and store the mattresses in a storage locker until they were either needed again or we decided to actually get rid of them. The plastic was pretty thick and we were able to cover the mattress without any issues. It did take two people to get the cover on the queen mattress. But it did end up covering the whole mattress to protect the integrity of the large mattress. I think this cover is going to do a really good job of keeping the mattress dry and dust free for a long period of time And allows us to limit how often we need to go check on our items in the storage locker.

The price was good, but got holes and made the mattresses slippery and difficult to carry. Fine for just storing.

I'm quite pleased with the thickness of the plastic this mattress bag is made out of. While not really heavy it was absolutely sufficient to protect our mattress and remain intact through the wear and tear of moving. It fit our pillowtop mattress perfectly with a bit of room to spare and our mattress that is going to be stored will be remaining in this bag to keep it safe from dust and cat fur until it's needed. It does a great job and at a really good price point!
