Excellent. You’ll see the pH reading after 30 seconds but note that it may change after 1-2 minutes. This solely depends upon what you are testing so make sure that you know your desired pH range.

Not as precise as a digital one, but it works.

The strips are easy to use. You dip your test strip in the solution you are testing (mine was a cosmetic cream) and then you line it up with the provided sample chart that comes with the strips. However, the strips are difficult to match to the sample chart. It is tough to figure out which color is supposed to be closest to the color of your test strip sample.

These work great. Bought them to check the pH of my homemade kefir. I like how easy and quick it is to analyze the results using the label. Very user friendly

I bought this to test my Kombucha and to test my saliva to see what range I'm in. It's very easy to read. I haven't had any issue with matching the colors up. I've only used them for these 2 purposes.. when I was sick the numbers reflected that so they do work.

The reason I like these 4 color strps is you always have certainty you are in the range you anticipate you'll be in, plus you can measure ANYTHING from 1 - 14 pH.Even if you'll always anticipate a range of 2.5 to 5 lets say (like I use them for) sometimes things may change and the reality may be that your pH is way out of wack but you may be fooled to think you are still at 5pH because that's the max of your 2 colored strip, like I used to use. The 4 colors show it clearly that you're liquid is out of your anticipated range.I used 2 color strips before and they don't assure you that you're looking at the right range sometimes because 2 colored strips only do a small range, like 1-5 pH, versus 4 colored strips which do 1 - 14 pH. When you have the 4 colors, you always know you are where you think you are, reading wise. I had trouble sometimes determining if I was at 5, or higher, because mt 2 color strips only measured to 5, whereas when you have the 4 colors you KNOW you are high or low because the extra 2 colors start to react. These give me easy to read accurate results every time.

I used 8 different test strips in vinegar and coffee to see how the strips would work. None of them change to reflect any pH level. In fact, I am not sure they didn't send me a previously opened/used pkg. Unfortunately I waited past the "return by date" to try them and find out they weren't any good and could not return them.

A lot of people seem to have had a problem with these being inaccurate. Maybe theres a difference in batches or something, because mine have been about as accurate you could hope for compared to other similar products. I used them with various pH tester calibration liquids I had laying around, they came back almost exactly on point every time. I use these for testing highly alkaline solutions, and in my experience they give me results similar to that of the more affordable digital testers out there. I just like being able to dip it, read it and toss it rather than having to clean strong bases off my digital meter all the time, it just makes me uneasy. Plus it's another point of reference if nothing else. I recommend it. If you need pinpoint accuracy, you're going to have to spend a lot more than a couple bucks for a high quality digital meter, and there's no getting around that.
