Good idea, but wrap/paper roll doesn’t fit. A standard roll of plastic wrap must be more than 1/2 empty before it will fit in the box. When it fits in, it works well . Too bad, a bigger box would get 5 stars.

This product has eliminated the frustration I previously dealt with when using plastic wrap. It works perfectly as long as you carefully lay the saran on the line of the cutter which is not difficult. It's too long for my wrap holder on the door so I had to find a new place to store it. The fact that it only holds 100 feet is not a problem for me either. The price was right and arrived quickly. I like this product overall!

I have uploaded several pictures here. I will describe these pictures, but I cannot guarantee what order they will be uploaded in. There is a picture showing the opening for my relatively small roll of aluminum foil and a standard roll of plastic wrap. As you can see the spindle that goes inside of the item would fit inside the plastic wrap, but would never fit inside of the roll of aluminum foil. if you look at the pictures of the plastic wrap as compared to the aluminum foil, you would see that the plastic wrap would never fit inside this container. Only the small roll of aluminum foil wood. It barely fits. My point in this? The spindles meant to hold the aluminum foil in place so you can use the item would never actually fit a roll of aluminum foil that would fit inside the box. Furthermore as you can see from the picture of the top of the box, it doesn’t matter because there’s no way you would ever get a piece of tinfoil to fit through the opening anyway. Don’t buy this. It is an actual piece of garbage.

This is not wide enough to turn with plastic wrap. I bought the small roll. Very disappointed..

I ordered this dispenser to use with aluminum foil. I have a huge roll of plastic wrap from a big box store that lives on the counter, and it is incredibly convenient to have it accessible. I wanted a dispenser for my foil too, but don't go through enough to buy the huge roll. This dispenser looks good on the counter, and has a small footprint. It rips well enough to the counter during use, and the sliding cutter tool works well. It is super convenient to also have my foil handy without having to dig through the drawer and deal with the sharp cutting blade on the box.Overall, I really like this dispenser, and ended up ordering a second one for wax paper as well. This can be used for plastic wrap, foil, wax paper, parchment paper, etc. and would work well for all. 5 stars.

I have always been annoyed at the poor cutters incorporated into the plastic wrap I use, leading to jagged, torn pieces, and I have been jealous of the tools than some stores I frequent employ for this purpose. Now I have one of my own! This is a very simple and, frankly cheap-looking, tool but it does the job perfectly. It is easy to use and makes a nice straight, clean cut on my plastic wrap.
