The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the handle grip walks down on the handle as you use it. A little annoying but as still a good choice.

I use the scoop to dish out dog food. It turns out that one full scoop is perfect for my Greyhound (female, roughly 67 pounds.)

My husband was always breaking the plastic measuring cups for the dogs food, not this, thinking it would be impossible for him to break...so far, so good! I would recommend this, the blue is a beautiful blue, kind of like an "electric blue".

I bought this in 2013 and it worked great. Today the handle broke. I have 2 100lb rotties that eat 4 scoops a day so I use it a lot. Other than the handle, it has been terrific. It is well made, shaped perfectly for scooping food, and fits in the container I use. I have tried others but this is by far the best scoop out there. I can deal with it breaking after 4 years of daily use. I like it so much I have already replaced it with the same exact scoop.... if you are reading this review, buy the scoop. You will love it (yes it is just a scoop but it does its job very well)

This scoop's best feature is the fact that it's pretty, which would have a lot more weight with me if it didn't spend 99% of the time shut up in a bin of dog food. The rubberized grip also feels nice in the hand. There are, however, two major drawbacks. First, the piece of metal connecting the handle to the bowl of the scoop is weak. If you put any meaningful pressure on it, the metal will bend. As a result, you have to scoop carefully to avoid putting too much stress on the scoop. Second, the one cup, or eight ounce, mark on the bowl of the scoop isn't at the top of the bowl. It is something like 3/4 of an inch of the way down the side. If you are buying this scoop thinking you are going to be able to quickly scoop up a cup of food at a time, you will be disappointed. In order to measure out a cup, you have to do a whole lot of shaking food out and checking the line and shaking some more out, etc. The top of the scoop is closer to a cup and a half.

Really nice scoop. I do wish it had more measuring lines. It has 1/2 and 1 cup measurements marked, but I'm a little too obsessive amount measuring properly, so if I want an in-between amount, I have to guess-timate. Also, I wish the whole capacity was the top measurement. In other words, if it's a 1-cup scoop, I wish it held 1-cup. The one cup marking is about a half-inch below the top of the cup, so you have to actually look, sprinkle, look, sprinkle to get the right amount. It may sound picky, but I have 2 small dogs that are different weights, and therefore have different intake requirements. Despite these small issues, I do recommend the product. It's a well-built scoopt and otherwise well designed.

A nice scoop for feeding my two 100lb furballs. Much nicer than the plastic one that I was using before.

Really nice looking scoop. Love the vibrant metallic sheen. Much better than the plastic scoop I was using previously.Loses stars for not including the black grippy handle that is shown in the main picture. Without the handle/handle cover the metal edges at the bottom can dig into the hand & makes uncomfortable for scooping out a lot of dog food.It would be 5 stars if I had the handle covers to go with the two I purchased.

I have a problem with my knee and I can't carry anything heavy. I found a container on wheels for my cat's dry cat food and bought a scoop so I just have to roll the container over to the food dish, scoop it out of the container and fill the bowl. This works well for me so....I like the Clump and Seal Cat Litter, but the formula that works great happens to be the heavy littler formula, not the newer lightweight formula. They come in boxes that are 19 pounds and 38 pounds, so I got another of the same container to store the litter in, so I can leave it near the litter box or tool it over to the litter box to replenish the litter in the litter box. I looked in Amazon and got this scoop so I ca scoop the clean litter into the box. It seems to wok well and it is large enough to replenish the litter with a couple of scoops. It seems to be strong enough for the purpose I need it for.If there is any change in my positive use of this scoop, I will update this review.
