I did go on Utube and got a tip about putting my finger in the band to install it as you lay the platter back in place, helped a lot. The whole process took about a minute and half. Works perfectly. Make sure, if your turntable is like mine and the old band disintegrated into pieces, that you get ALL the old band pieces outbefore installing and running with the new one.

Ordered this to replace old belt on my Technics SL-B200 turntable. The old belt had lost its elasticity and the turntable wouldn't play at a consistent speed. This fixed the problem. Product arrived in a timely manner.

The new belt is too small and forces the motor to slow down and not achieve the needed speed. My old belt, almost worn out, placed back on the platter allows correct speed. The return process through Amazon is not worth my time for this small a purchase. Edit: I did not realize that the "return process" has gotten easier. I will be returning this belt today and buying a new one from a local source who can supply the correct size....

I thought I was going have a difficult time finding a replacement belt, but it was on Amazon at a reasonable price. Works great.
