This is one of the very few cat toys that I have put down and my cat has immediately started playing or otherwise interacting with it. I believe the noticeable scent of catnip likely attracted him initially, as he first started to try to bite the purrito, then eventually he started to play with it a bit and even grabbed it with his forepaws and kicked at it with his hind paws at some points. I've seen him intermittently biting it or carrying it around, though I've been slightly surprised that he hasn't played with the shrimp on the string as much. Even still, I think that this has been one of the better toys for him so far.One thing that I've been a bit apprehensive about is the "crinkle wrap" portion of the purrito; it does seem to entice him when it makes noise (whether from my crinkling it or while he's playing with it), but with his sharp hind claws occasionally clawing at it and already starting to cause small rips/tears, I'm just wondering how long it may last. Still, it has been quite entertaining both for me and him, which I've been quite happy about since he's often extremely wary of any new toys or other cat items.One last note is that, although the verbiage in the product images here state that it is machine-washable and dryer friendly, it mentions to remove the catnip first; however, I could not find any way to do so. Therefore, it may not be as machine-washable and dryer friendly as advertised.

I just picked up this toy from the Amazon locker today and our cat started playing with it IMMEDIATELY I struggle to find toys she likes and am so happy she seems to love this one

So the wife and I always tease the cat when it meows cause to us it sounds it's saying burrito. So one day we decided to look for a catnip burrito and found this! The cat loves it! It also has a piece of shrimp on a string so you can interact with the cat as well.

It’s difficult to find toys she likes to play with. She is going to be 6 years old in a couple of weeks and I adopted her just 5 months ago. As soon as I opened the delivery box, she immediately spotted it and tried pulling it out from the amazon box by the little shrimp. It is well made to please even the pickiest of cats. It has several different textures and even makes crinkle sounds on the foil-like side. The other end has different types of fabric that are used to create the filling of the burrito. The dangling shrimp is not only cute, but it adds yet another level of play for cats. I highly recommend this if you are a cat owner.

The first couple weeks, my cat totally ignored this toy. Then suddenly, she started playing with it. Cats can be picky, and some need time to “think about it,” but I would say this is a great toy.
