Great quality, perfect size for our vitamix blender. We use it more than anything for when we make peanut butter to help push the nuts down into the blade. At first it may seem like it's too long, but the stopper catches it perfectly before it will hit your blades. Good item to have for those specific blends. Good price.

i broke by vitamix plunger the week I got it .I was so annoyed with myself. thankfully I found this guy. it works perfectly !! if I do something boneheaded again and brake it atleast I know a good one to buy to replace it.

These are good for at home use. Not good for commercial use since they get washed so frequently in commercial setting, the tops eventually lift and water gets inside them.

An incident led to the untimely demise of my original tamper. Fortunately, this is a perfect replacement—it literally looks and feels identical to the one from Vitamix!

This tamper does NOT feel like some of the other vitamix tampers. Instead, think about the plastic bowling pin sets you had as a kid and that will be similar to the feel rather than the more rubberized/silicone feel that other models used.I bought it to use with my Breville Fresh and Furious. This fits with about 0.5 cm clearance above the blades. Note, since the tamper isn't rubberized, it doesn't fit snugly. An operator will be best served to stand with it and hold it in position or remove the tamper and recap the blender if they plan to walk away.
