I used this with royal icing while decorating cookies. The thinner metal piece helps with intricate details. I didn’t like using it on the whole cookie, my other scribe was better for that.

I used this to ice Christmas cookies. It worked just fine. The only thing I don’t like about it is very flimsy. I not sure how many washings it will go through.

E' un buon prodotto, non eccezionale. Non è in acciaio temprato perché tende un po' a piegarsi, ma fa egregiamente il suo lavoro. Ottimo per riaprire il beccuccio dell'Attack, permettendovi di risparmiare sull'acquisto di una nuova confezione perché l'attuale è ostruita e l'ago inserito nel cappuccio è troppo corto e inutile.

The perfect tool for coaxing wet royal icing into tight spots, removing a crusty bit, fixing a bubble or error, re-positioning an applied eye, dragging dots into heart shapes etc on wet on wet piping. It seems expensive until you have one. I have 3 for when my sisters come over to work on cookies. The sort of tool you want to use when the icing is really wet so you don't want to have to wait your turn.

This is the best tool in my life. I decorate cookies and cakes. This tool does it all when it comes to royal icing cookies. It is thin and sharp, but long enough to reach. It is great for adding small details, cleaning up mistakes, popping air bubbles, and moving icing around to create very fine details. I think that the handle has a good feel and length for ease of use. It feels very similar to the Ticonderoga yellow pencils. It is light and comes with a small cover for the tip. This is a life saver since I don't get stabbed as I rummage around in my drawer. PME is also one of the preferred brands in the cookie community.I wish I had several more of these!

I bought this scriber needle as a gift to my mother and she really liked it! It arrived well packaged in bubble wrap and the delivery itself was very fast. My mother said the needle is firm and well attached to the body of the tool (she had similar tools in the past where the needle was very flimsy or even fell off the tool). The needle was long and thin, perfect for what my mother wanted it for (royal icing on cookies). She also said the tool has a good grip with is very important and is a big plus since her artisan hands aren't as firm as they were years ago, unfortunately. It also comes with a protective cap for the needle, for when you are storing it away. All in all, my mother was very happy with this gift and so am I, I would definitely buy from this company again. Great quality product, it deserves 5 stars.

I ordered two of these, with two charges of shipping (because of Amazon not the vendor). This vendor had EXCELLENT customer service, very friendly, and very prompt to answer my questions. I asked about discounted shipping, they explained how Amazon worked with that, however, she refunded me the second item's shipping once my tools were delivered. I am happy with that!Now for the tools themselves... Easy to handle & grip. The needle was long enough for me and skinny enough to use for Royal Icing (on cookies). I'm sure I can find more uses for this tool when it comes to Pastry. Made a lot of iced cookies last night for the first time and this tool was amazing!Shipping was on time and packaged well with care.Customer service 5 stars, Shipping 5 stars, Item 5 stars - Will purchase again if I need another one in the future!
