How to use:
Always shake the can well before use. Spray a uniform layer from a distance of 6 to 8 inches.
Spray lightly and evenly over desired area, adding layer by layer for a more intense finish.
It is always advisable to place your finished item into a box or protected area as this will contain the spray.
As with all spray colors, a test spray is always a good idea.

I guess this would work if you had the necessity to actually spray paint buttercream-that is if you like uneven, ugly results (and do about a third of an 8" cake). Anyway, a friend bought this for me here on Amazon-I saw it for exactly half that price at my local very expensive cake supply. I don't usually need to spray a large area, but if you need your fondant to look metallic, I usually get "HomeHere" Lustre dust right here on Amazon-mixed with a little vodka, it goes on nicely and provides a very metallic look. I've been making custom cakes for almost 15 years and HomeHere is the best, NOT this product!!! In my pic, the paper on the bottom is what this PME spray does (very uneven and can't decide how daek it wants to be) the picks with fondant on them were touched up with HomeHere.
