Please note that my review is for the hammock itself. I didn’t get one with a stand. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I got this hammock, but from the first time I laid in it, I knew I'd made a good call. It did take some effort to set it up and make sure it was safe without a stand.I like that it’s got that classic rope design that lets the air flow through, so even on hotter days, you won’t feel like you’re baking. The 13-foot length was fortuitous for me because my trees aren’t close together. I probably should have measured first. Anyway, the spreader bars keep it open, making it easy to get in and out without doing some awkward balancing act, although the kids do love watching that kind of afternoon comedy.Comfort-wise, it’s top-notch. The rope gives just enough stretch to cradle your body without feeling flimsy, and it can hold two people with no problem, although I haven’t tested that yet because it might require some coaxing.My only gripe is that it doesn’t come with clips to attach it to a tree or post, so you’ll need to get those separately if you don’t already have them. Also, because of its length, make sure you’ve got the right setup for a stand. If you’re using a standard hammock stand, it might sag lower than expected. Get a wider one to be safe.Setup is simple, and it even comes with a carrying bag, which is a nice touch for storage or taking it on the go. Although, I doubt I'll be moving mine. Whether I’m reading, napping, or just watching the sky, this hammock has become my favorite go-to spot for unwinding. Recommended.

It really helps your brain shift into rest mode.While it doesn’t come with a stand, it does include all the hardware needed for easy setup. Just a heads-up: since it's made of poly-cotton, I highly recommend not leaving it out in the rain. Repeated exposure can harden the rope and shorten its lifespan significantly.All in all, this hammock delivers comfort, stability, and that irresistible feeling of carefree relaxation.

I love hammocks !!! To me there's nothing more comfy than laying back in a soft hammock and just taking in the outdoors. That being said, I didn't get to set this up myself, as my daughter saw it, than took it outside and set it up herself, since like Dad she shares my love of hammocks. The hammock seems pretty well made and of decent quality, and the first thing I noticed was how big it is. There's easily room for 2, and it seems longer than most. It's fairly lightweight, but strong and supports our weight easily. My daughter tied it between 2 large tress using paracord, and I noticed that it does sag quite a bit if not tied tightly. We tightened the knots and it was fine. As hammocks go, it's a typical, and is inviting outside under the locust trees. We had a rare couple of 60 degree days this week when my daughter set it up, so we got lazy and left it up, and of course...it snowed a bit the next day...lol. It looks like it can stand the Maine weather and we will probably leave it up for the summer, and fall to drop into after a hard day's work.It's well worth e price which is typical for a hammock this size, and quality. Well worth it !
