Looked good out of the box, and worked well for a period of about three months. Then the steel plunger/crusher head broke off the shaft connector. Reached out to Amazon and vendor, hoping to be able to receive or at least buy parts: no reply, no support. Big investment for something that becomes trash in months.

The crusher seems to be well made. However I bought this a while back and I am just getting around to setting it up and the mounting bracket is missing. If I can get the bracket I will be happy.

1st, the ability to crush a can by pushing a button, sure beats the heck out of stomping cans flat, but this conveyance will not do that, … it is at least, an inch, & 1/2, too short, as it only smashes a can for 2/3’rds of its length, … plus the opening, where it is supposed to drop out after being flattened, is too close to the end of the can, … even if you adjust the rod part that contacts the can, it might still, just pop up into the air, … no safety to keep it in place during the extension of the actuator, … and the other end of the opening, is also too far forward, towards the actuator, … (no 1/2 cans, or shorter, allowed), …So now, I will have to do what I do best, … tinker, with the setup, so that, …A), the whole can crushes, at least an inch, & 3/8’s more, by adding something to the end of the actuator rod, to increase its length, …and thenB), to also, adjust the opening, through which the “crushed” can will fall repeatedly into the receiving basket below, each, & every time,& then,C), also figure out how to make a mechanism, to safely keep the can, inside of the machine, while the crushing action, is performed, …and then,D), perhaps, I will have something worth the $100+ gambit I thought I bought will amount to something that I can utilize, …

Sturdy design, there are a few flaws that I will be improving upon. The button to drop the piston came bent from the box, the cheap brackets are easily bent back into position, though not 100% straight. To operate correctly this button must be depressed until the piston crushes the can. The head on the piston is welded on slightly crooked, doesn’t effect much but the pressure provided won’t be completely linear. The bleeder screw gasket, I’m assuming as it does not come with instructions, sprung a leak during first use and you can see where it failed, so the compressor will have to kick on every once in awhile. The base isn’t very wide so I will be using unistrut to widen and secure to a bench.Still saves me time and space despite these things. Will be removing the stock button and replacing with a cable release trigger so I can operate from a few feet away.

I love this can crusher. It works well with my 19 gal air compressor. I have it setup so that it drops the cans into a trash bag. This is perfect for those who want to consolidate recyclables.

This crusher works slicker than dog slobber on a glass door handle! We have crushed more than 100 pounds of cans with no issues. We did add a block of wood to get the cans to crush flatter!

Works absolutely amazing. Hooked it up to my little 4 gallon compressor and was able to cycle it about a dozen times rapidly before I had to let it build back up. Does larger monster cans very well too. Only downside was the button got bent on shipping. Was able to unscrew it and use pliers to fix it fairly easily. Overall, i would say Im very satisfied. One recommendation would be screw holes for mounting.
