With a slew of cards including premium foil cards and a well-tuned set of Pokémon and Trainer cards, the Mew VMAX League Battle Deck features one of the most popular Pokémon of the Kanto region with the entire power of the Fusion Strike engine behind it. Among the League Battle Deck's premium foil cards is none other than Genesect V—its powerful Fusion Strike System ability allows you to draw cards until you have as many cards in your hand as you do Fusion Strike Pokémon in play. What can I say? Mew is great! Seriously, if you're a little older like me then Mew and Mewtwo were some of the strongest growing up. Mew is also cute.That aside, there's some fun cards in here. Being Pokemon, a lot is subjective however.We purchased these to play with our children though and that's what they've been used for. Everything came promptly, arrived in perfect condition and I feel the value was good for how much I like Mew. When it comes to Pokemon, Psychic are my favorite though.Even with all of the new pokemon that have come out since the original, the kids eyes still light up when they see these. That says something. They really are fun cards and simply classic pokemon in multiple aspects.

Exactly as described!I was a bit nervous after reading some reviews about boxes being tampered with and packages being opened and re sealed. The box itself arrived a bit damaged on the corners, but nothing was open and everything was there. This box is a game with a 60 card playing deck, so there are duplicates in the deck itself. But great gift from someone or if you are just starting out!

This has been a great pack for my grandson, who loves Mew. He has done very well with it. However if playing Pokémon TCG it’s worth knowing that every year Pokémon take a generation of cards and retire them. Currently each year has a letter of the alphabet. The most recent letter is G, which all the new cards currently have ( it will change back end of this year).. Last week almost every card with an E was retired from competitive play, with just a few exceptions. F is still usable, but will be rotated out about next Easter (2025). This makes no difference at all if you collect the cards for the artwork, or just as a collection, but makes a big difference if you are playing competitively as many of these cards went out of play in the rotation this week, making this set not such great value for competitive players.

This set from a third party vendor came to me complete and untampered with. It says it comes with a complete playable starter deck. That isn’t true, or in my case anyway.It comes with no energy cards and also only about 12 basic cards. Most of the cards in my set were trainer cards. To me that isn’t a playable deck if it comes with no energy.

My daughter's favorite Pokemon is Mew, so I knew I needed to get this set for her birthday. She was thrilled with it and absolutely loved the cards! But, she was a little confused by the dice, as she is used to the little paper circle damage counters, so there was a little bit of a learning curve for her to understand what to do with the dice - maybe that's just her. But she still loved it anyway.The other issue, was in shipping, the top of the box got damaged/smashed and it arrived partly opened. I was worried that something would be missing, but luckily everything was there. I was able to smush it back into shape mostly and make it look closed for my daughter's gift and she didn't really notice. But I do wish Amazon would take a bit more care - I am finding more and more things with damage from shipping, all because Amazon doesn't use enough padding/bubble wrap in boxes and things are loosely sliding around in boxes - or they're putting things that should be padded well in a box into an envelope instead and they get bent or otherwise damaged. It's frustrating that they don't take better care to make sure our items arrive intact!!
