The assembly portion of this is simple. The material composition is what is the most valuable part of this piece. The aluminum hubs I've had have cracked, worn, and burst. With this cast steel hub, the weight is slightly higher than aluminum, however, its a lot more robust for the application. Wheel studs and brake rotor will have to be removed from original and installed. I purchased two for the rear of my 2019 1000XP and 1 for my dads same make and model. My dads aluminum hub was shattered, my OEM aluminum hugs were worn on the inside so much that when replacing bearings they wouldn't hold the bearing. This steel hub fixed all of that. Very pleased. A few dollars cheaper than the dealer but the perk is it was delivered to my house and I didn't have to take off work and drive 45 minutes to beat the buzzer when the dealer closes.
