I often ride through some brushy areas and the stock bumper is so narrow, it didn't deflect anything away from the cowling. I added the monarch bumper and skid plate for some added protection.Installation wasn’t too bad. It would have been 100% easier if I could have located my spring puller and removed the pipe. You can install it with the pipe in, but it’s kind of tricky and will take some extra time.The bumper looks nice, and is easier to grab on to for lifting on the front if you need to. I went with flat black because it matched my hood. I picked up another one for my Assault. This one is on an RMK AXYS chassis.
