- Throttle Position
The wire harness to the throttle position sensor is a well known issue on Polaris EFI machines. It will vibrate over time and break the wires either internally or externally and can be hard to diagnose. Many times it will throw a code but not always. Fix it now with our own version of the Polaris 2878498 harness repair kit. Simply cut off the old harness and use the included butt connectors or solder the connections to the new pigtail. Our pigtail fits perfectly to the Mikuni TPS sensor and has 6" long wire leads. The last photo is for reference only, please ensure your TPS sensor looks the same before ordering. Fits the models listed below using the Mikuni throttle position sensors (3140173 and 3131705): 2016-17 Sportsman 450 2006-09 Sportsman 500 (EFI models only) 2009-14 Sportsman 550 XP (All) 2014-17 Sportsman 570 (All) 2009-17 Sportsman 850 XP (All) 2015-17 Sportsman 1000
