These are great for dry polishing rock samples that are water-soluable, or flakey rock samples like shale. I highly recommend them for EPMA prep!

These fine grit sanding pads seem to be of high quality & I especially appreciate that they have a foam backing which makes hand sanding more comfortable. They sand metal nicely without any “clogging” that you sometimes get with other sandpaper. At only 3 per pack, this wouldn’t be ideal for larger projects & I’m not sure the value is awesome, but the product does work well. If you only need a sheet of each grit & are looking for a quality product, then the price point might work for you.

Package looks like 3M product but not. Nice foam backing. Not long enough to fit my 3M hand sander. Typical grits for automotive sanding prep for paint, small body scratches, color correction. Only 3 grits. They wear out fast. 4stars. jv

I recently tried removing some scratches from the hood of my wife's car, but I only used a polishing compound. I've seen videos using fine grit sandpaper like this, so I thought I'd pick these up for the next time. In general, the sandpaper feels pretty nice, but I noticed on one of the pads that it appears to not be fully coated or wasn't applied correctly? I don't think it will affect the performance much, though.

Exactly what I needed for sandpaper. I needed to sand down some shiny plastic in order to apply adhesive for spray paint to adhere but I still wanted it to look smooth. Bike fenders. This did the job perfectly. Great adhesion of paint afterwards but the surface did not look for feel textured.Easy to use and worked well. Nice light sanding.

Because there are only 3 pieces - 1 of each grit - it’s good for touchups. The foam backing is good for applying pressure evenly. Packaged together, the lower grit can contact the higher grits, so rinsing before using would probably be a good idea.

Awesome sandpaper and the perfect grits for scratch removal on your precious paint. Had sine bird droppings that sat on paint too long in sun and started etching in clear coat. I lightly went 1500, 3k, then 5k to smooth out. Buffed with compound and polish and now smooth as a baby’s behind!
