works great once you interpret the poorly written instructions. wasted a lot of ribbon and buckles trying to figure it out.

The tools themselves are fair quality, the straps tear and break very easily with the slightest bit of a sharp edge

This kit comes with everything you need to get started, including a winch tool to adjust tension, a crimping tool to attach the metal bands, two rolls of strapping material, and metal crimps.I found it easier to roll off a length of the strapping material I thought would be enough rather than mess with the whole roll. It may be a bit wasteful but it's much easier to manage.The crimping tool is pretty straightforward in that you place a metal tab over the plastic strapping where it overlaps and then place the tool and squeeze. The results may not always be pretty but it works.The tensioner tool I struggled with a bit since I had never used one before. The instructions are a bit confusing but once I understood the mechanics and how to load the strapping material into the tensioner, I managed to use it without issue. I would recommend starting with just a small piece of strapping and test out on something like a 2x4 if you have never used a tool like this before.All in all, this is not a tool I would use every day but when you need something like this, it is definitely helpful. I used to bind things up with that packing saran wrap stuff whenever I needed a solution like this and that can often be a hassle depending on what you are binding up.

If you like to keep your workshop neat and organized these are a great item to have available. This is a great set that comes with all tools necessary to clamp your items together. This is offered at a much lower price than what you find in the box store.I found it easy to use. It works great to keep my shop organized. I can use it on plumbing supplies or any odd shaped objects to keep them organized.
