New Old Stock. Firmware was outdated and would not work with Telus Business Connect or RingCentral due to expired certificate authorities. It would not accept newer firmware. Complete waste of money. We sort of got it to work by turning off all the TLS, however then none of the carrier features would work, including presence making it useless other than a dumb VoIP phone.

The phone would not connect with much support from Ring Central and NWR IT support.

Purchased the phone in 5/2018 and its been gradually getting worse. in the last couple weeks the phone just randomly reboots on it own upward to 5-6 times a day. Also, the BTOE will no longer hold. Set the settings, hit save, and it goes straight back to disables. This is a huge flaw for business customers looking to use the hone as a speaker while on Skype or Teams...Best to look elsewhere and leave this as your last resort. I'm already looking for a new phone.

I ordered this unit for my work office since my last phone bit the dust after a major power surge event. The only other Polycom phones in our office are the conference room units so I did have a bit of a learning curve to get it set up. It didn't really come with any great instructions so I looked up some instructions on the Google to program it into our PBX (IPitomy) via the phone's IP address, not through our PBX which we normally do with our other phones. Here's the thing, it's programmed, I have my extension number, my direct line goes to the phone, it all seems to be perfect...except when I log onto the pbx it indicates it's not synced correctly. It's like it doesn't recognize the phone. It's strange...it works, but maybe not completely. I could have our phone IT company look at it but since it works and I'm not super concerned about it I'll leave it for now. If it were a desk phone for anyone else in the company and I needed to control functions through the PBX such as the schedule, forwarding, name & VM pw, I would have to get the phone guys to look at it.The display works perfectly, bright and colorful. Sound quality is good. The unit is a little lightweight and kind of tips over if I pull on the handset too hard so not very sturdy. Overall, I like the phone for myself. Since it wasn't very easy to set up I'm hesitating purchasing anymore to use within the company until we can figure out if it will sync properly with the system.

Great phone - with excellent voice quality. While the Yealink phones have better firmware, the Polycom beats Yealink any day with regards to durability, reliability and sound quality - both from the handset and the speakerphone.

I ordered the phone late Wednesday and Amazon delivered it by Friday. I bought it on the recommendation of a Nextiva (Nextiva is my VOIP provider) because my Polycom VVX201 stopped working four months after I purchased it (also on the recommendation of Nextiva) after the office rebooted the server and the VVX started sending me ghost calls every five minutes. When I asked the Nextiva rep if I could use the old power supply from the 201 for the 410, he said of course, no difference. BIG LIAR. I go to install the phone today and find that the 201 power supply is 12 volt, and the 410 requires a 48 volt. He also told me that I never should have bought the VVX201 because it is an entry level piece of crap with cheap parts that tend to break down. Why Polycom would sell the power supply separate from the phone is beyond me, or sell a p.o.c like the VVX201 Why a Nextiva rep who should be an expert on phones would not know the different models take different power supplies is beyond me too.

I bought this phone after intending to get a more expensive model. But, the longer I think, the cheaper I reflexively become. This phone is used on RingCentral.First, the phone, it is a high quality phone, nicer than I expected for the money. The handset and base are both well weighted, the screen is bright, the buttons function perfectly, it has a stand to place it at a useful angle, and it comes with the required ethernet cord (but not power supply). I bought the "Genuine polycom 48 volt power supply for polycom ip phones 2200-46170-001" for power and it works perfectly.Set up with my VoIP provider was effortless. I just called and gave them the MAC address and internal; IP address. A very short remote session resulted in the phone being hooked up by them. It literally took about 5 minutes, including telephone pleasantries, from on boxing to making and receiving calls. The nicest thing about this phone is the sound quality. The caller sound is very clear and, especially in speakerphone, the phone speaker is outstanding. On the other hand, my voice is easy to hear using the handset or on speaker as long as I am sitting within about 3 feet. I have recorded my voice sitting at various distances and up to 3 feet it sounds the same as on the handset. In fact, the handset is so sensitive that if you are a heavy breather you might want to get a less "high-definition" phone because your callers will hear you breathing. The other phones had bigger screens, Bluetooth, or more line appearances, none of which I needed and I am glad I did not spend double for the other phone that I was looking at. I have not tried it with a headset yet but I have tried every other feature of the phone and it works swimmingly. For RingCentral users, you can use this phone to transfer calls to your cell phone (blind or announced), or to any other phone as long as you have the number. Putting speed dial/important people on the main screen is extremely easy. Honestly, this was my 1st VoIP phone and the experiences extremely positive.

The Polycom VVX 410 has been a great phone for our executive team and employees that spend a lot of time on the phone. It's also an amazing receptionist phone, set it up with a sidecar to enhance our companies secretarial abilities. Might buy another for the sales desk.We replaced our old Polycom Soundpoint 450s with these Polycom VVX 410 and we love them so far. The display is much better and they give us 12 line appearances instead of the 3 we used to get.
