These work great. I have used them for painting, dotting paint projects, pulling up stickers, etc. They have so many uses. Great value. Very durable.

This is a nice starter kit for clay tool they're mostly plastic except for the few that are metal and wooden so you could definitely get some higher quality ones but they will do the job for a beginner set.

I got some air dry modelling clay for a girls night and these tools were a perfect way to elevate the night. Could we have done away with them because we're not professional potters? Sure. But we had a blast being able to manipulate the clay to our liking. For the price, I definitely recommend grabbing these!

This is a nice variety of art tools. They are great for more than just clay, as well. I love the silicone tools quite a bit. They have more interesting tips than my standard silicone tools.

I buy a lot of clay starter sets because they're a quick and easy way to get a bunch of colors that I might only need occcasionally without having to pay too much. Of course, that also means that I'm up to my eyeballs in cheap clay tools. If that's you, or if you're getting started but get the feeling you're going to stick with the craft, I'd suggest splurging on these (and really, for nine bucks at the time of writing, it's not even that much of a splurge). These are leagues better than the cheap plastic tools; they do their jobs better, feel better in the hand, and they really make you want to use them. That, in turn, leads to using them more often, which builds your skills. So, yeah. Get a set, and get to work (or play). You'll like them.

I taught Ceramics for many years: aged 4 students through adult and these are positively Fantastic tools for that! I most often use the large spheres for the eye sockets of dragons, horses, giraffes, elephants, and people. And of course they are fun to use to make circular textures on the outsides of cups, bowls, and vases. You don’t want to use them on the insides of these things because it makes work like this that holds liquids too hard to clean. The rubber tips will help you smooth in corners of your ceramics work so that they don’t crack if you place them in the kiln to fire them at high temperatures. And when you join together parts of clay works, these same rubber tipped tools work very well for smoothing the clay so that your work looks perfect! Now I am also doing resin epoxy work. It’s nice because it doesn’t break as easily!😂The twisted barrel small spherical ended tool is perfection for silicone oil to create cells in epoxy resin. This is like the creating cells technique in painting. This is also possible in ceramics as an underglaze technique.🤩And that same twisted barrel small spherical ended tool is perfection for doing the Galaxy technique in epoxy resin as seen here in the 3rd photo. The middle photo shows using a soft point plastic tool in epoxy resin but again this is also a technique that is used in ceramics using paints or underglazes. In ceramics, I have seen this used for decorating plates or spherical work. To do this technique in an underglaze, you must use more under glaze (or paint) than usual to get this effect. And of course the first photo shows getting the perfect amount of small things to insert into areas.I am Amazed at the low price for these tools on Amazon right now and I highly, Highly recommend these tools for helping you accomplish Designs That are Uniquely Your Own in your Ceramics, Epoxy Resin, and Painting work!😊

I love these for helping shape sculptures with air dry clay. I've been able to make different shaped eyes with the round pieces. The rubber pieces are great for either smoothing or creating lines. Comparing my sculptures before I started using these tools to the pieces I've made since getting these tools is a big difference.I haven't used polymer clay before, but from all the different things I can accomplish using these with air dry clay, I imagine a polymer clay user will also find this handy. The tools rinse off easily. There's a good variation in size. The tools are pretty sturdy. Can't really find anything major to complain about, especially when you consider the price (under $10 at the time of this review + you get 10 tools, so that's less that $1 per tool, woohoo!). Oh, and since each tool has two sides, it's more like 20 tools, not 10.But if I did have to choose one thing to be picky about, the tools with the rubber shapers do come off if you pull on them. This doesn't bother me, and if it did I could fix it with glue, but figured I'd mention it in case this is a deal-breaker for someone.

I do a lot of random art projects with my kids and we’ve been in a sculpting phase recently. I’ve always felt like I was pretty good at it, but I’mNot sure why. Things just seem to form for me, but it’s rough. You can tell what they are, but they’re rough.Enter this set of tools. It has made such a huge difference in my ability to create even contours, finishes and eliminate so many bumps & areas of inconsistent finish. All tools are super easy to use and hold, for me and also for kids. There’s a huge variety of textures you can make with the small tipped tools. The round tipped tools have totally changed face & body contouring for me. They’re so much better than whatever kitchen tool I could locate before. Functionality is great. They’re all roughly the size of paintbrushes, and the tips are mostly soft instead of sharp. It’s a great value and I’d recommend to anyone who’s inclined to work with clay. I will probably never be an amazing sculptor but this set has genuinely improved my ability.
