This product melted under my car. It cannot stand certain amount of heat. I would purchase at your own risk but I know I won't be buying anymore of this.

Installed these on my 2001 Lexus IS300 with no issues. Had a shop install them, so can't comment on the install process and how it went for them. Car had roughly 230k miles on it and the OEM rubber had enough (this was the third time these bushings have been replaced on the car, so I wanted something to last longer than the OEM rubber). The car is lowered 2" or so, so that in itself puts more stress on the rubber and it's a common failure on this car, as most of you know. The first signs I knew the bushings were bad was the car was all over the place on the highway (hard to keep straight, lots of effort needed). I could tell that the toe was off and with every bump or wind change, it would change even more. Plus, the tire wear was pretty bad recently.First impressions right away is wow, so much tighter in the steering wheel! Some may take this as a good or bad thing. Personally, I love it as it tightens everything up and makes it much more crisper to drive. Turning is so much more responsive and it's so much easier to keep it straight. I would've gone with SuperPro or TRD bushings, but these were the only ones I could get in time (thank you Prime!) and I have no regrets at all. I was going to do the LCA #1 bushings (which I ordered the same time as these), but ended up not needing to because the stock ones were completely fine.Any cons? The ride is a little harsher and you can feel some more vibrations in the cabin, but it is far from a deal breaker for me. The car is already on coilovers, sway bars, new bushings in other areas, etc. so this just adds to the new feeling and it feels great. Time will tell to see how long these last before they either rip or start to clunk. Hopefully longer than the OEM rubber!
