Low Density Polyethylene Plastic Welding Rod - Made in USA

Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is used in some underhood areas such as windshield washer bottles and radiator overflow tanks. In non-automotive applications, it is used on ATV fenders, kayaks, canoes, dirt bike fenders and gas tanks, motor home water tanks, and agricultural water/fertilizer tanks. Because Polyethylene is very waxy, it is almost impossible to get quality repairs using adhesives. Welding is the best repair method for polyethylene.

Tried to use to weld LDPE container but the melting point was much lowrr than the container. Tried to preheat the item but the rod would not blend with plastic of the container. Maybe they sent me the wrong rods or they are not LDPE
