KW T880 "Short" Hood Repair Kit
The damage to KW T880 Metton hood pockets is very common. An OEM KW T880 SHORT hood will set you back thousands. Even an aftermarket fiberglass KW T880 SHORT hood costs thousands. Polyvance has a much more economical solution to repair the damaged KW T880 hood pockets. Polyvance's KW T880 SHORT Hood Repair Kit will allow you to repair the damaged hood pockets on your KW T880 for a fraction of the cost of replacing your damaged KW T880 SHORT hood. Polyvance's KW T880 SHORT hood repair kit allows the user to repair the broken, strut-bracket mounts on KW T880 SHORT Hoods. These strut-bracket mounts seem to break easily. Rather than spending thousands on a new hood, Polyvance created the KW T880 SHORT Hood Repair Kit which repairs and reinforces the broken strut-bracket mounts. The cast aluminum strut-bracket mounts are screwed and bonded into place with the included PlastiFix high-performance methacrylate adhesive.
THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!
This repair kit fits the "SHORT" hood T880. It will NOT fit the "Long" hood T880 and it will not fit the "Forward Axle" T880

- EcoPrep plastic cleaner.
- Adhesive applicator gun.
- Permanent marker, dust mask, and gloves.
- Die grinder with a cut-off wheel
- 40 to 60 grit sandpaper. 25 to 60 grit Rocloc disks and Roloc sander.
- Drill with a 9/64 drill bit.
- Ratchet wrench with 9/16" socket.
- Phillips screwdriver.
- Putty spreader.
- Low-strength (blue) thread locker.
Included Contents:
- Driver's side AND passenger's side aluminum reinforcement plugs.
- (2) Cartridges of PlastiFix high-performance adhesive.
- All of the required bolts, washers, and screws.
