Bought to get rid of the occasional "hood open" alert and remote start not working properly on my 18 sierra. Installed this and immediately got the "hood open" alert, so i opened the hood and closed it again, then it was good for about 2 days. Now, my remote start doesn't work again and I get multiple random "hood open" alerts. It's now worse than the latch I replaced. Not impressed!

Very good quality, same as OEM ,and very easy to install. Fixed my problem and I didn't have to take my truck to the garage and pay more for parts and labor by a mechanic.
