Product Description

Pond Worx Aqua Blue pond dye is a turquoise blue pond dye. Aqua Blue is made of blue and yellow dye. If your pond is currently clear it will give the pond a beautiful turquoise appearance. If your pond is currently muddy, brown it can give your pond a very light blue tint until the muddiness clears. We encourage pond owners trying a pond dye to take a picture before you apply the dye and then another picture the same time of the day 24-48 hours after applying the dye. It is amazing how subtly a dye can transform your body of water.

Directions:

Pour directly into water from shore. Dye will mix throughout pond in 24-48 hours. 1 quart will treat 1 acre of water 4-6 feet deep. Dye will last approximately 30 days depending on rainfall and runoff.

Important Tip: All ponds will take a dye differently and the same dye can appear slightly different in the same pond from one application to the next. Preexisting conditions in a pond can also alter the way a dye appears. If you apply a pond dye and the tint is drastically different than what is discussed above, there is a preexisting condition that is altering the color of the dye. For example, customers will add our Pond Worx pond dye to a rather green pond and the pond turns a vibrant green color. The preexisting condition in this pond is a planktonic algae growth. When the blue pond dye was added, it intensified the color of the green planktonic algae. Once the algae is controlled or dies off on its own the beautiful blue color will magically appear.

I have been buying this for several years now and it does a great job of transforming my pond. It will spread fully in a few hours Just be sure to wear gloves as it's hard to wash off.

More like green than turquoise. Mixes well, took about 4 hours. No complaints.Stains skin and clothes so watch out for splashing. Skin stain was gone by next day.

It was very easy to use. Our pond looks so much clearer and a beautiful blue color especially when the sun glistens across it. We have had a lot of the Wild Canadian Geese this summer. They made such a mess in the pond and we were told that they would eventually contaminate our pond water with their feces and were told to buy this product to help bring the pond water back to normal. It worked! I will definitely buy this product again!

This stuff was great for my run off pond. We didn’t want it looking like muddy water and this worked so good. The only thing that I was a bit disappointed in is it looks more green after it mixed in not really blue like I hoped. But the green is a pretty emerald color much better than muddy water any way it goes.
