Make sure the post are sturdy. I'd advise having some sand bags to secure the posts. Ensure that the posts are set on both high and low points of the boat, to allow rain water to flow off the boat without having an area where rain water could accumulate.Tighten straps well. Essentially create a good roof canopy for your boat. And this should last.All negative reviews are lack of experience.

I questioned whether the waterbags were useful or not, nope! One bag leaked from a unsealed seam right away.Also there are no instructions in included.I could not get the straps to tighten and hold no matter what configuration I used. I ended up adding snap buckles which made it easier to setup and remove.

Loved the set up, looked just like the pictures showed. Put all together only to find out one of the pole adjustment is stripped out so it won’t tighten up. Can’t even figure out who to contact about a possible part change out. Hoping I don’t have to return this because I actually like the way it fit in my pontoon but really discouraged that I can’t find any contact info to contact the company about questions

The support poles are great, they hold there height even with pressure. I have not used the water bags as not sure how to stop them from freezing during the Montana winters. But the poles themselves are worth the price.
