Put on my bowe of v bottom.No rume for a normal mount.Works great. Modified to pivot motor. It's a good product.

I bought the Newport Vessels Pontoon Trolling Motor Mount in hopes that it would make mounting a trolling motor easier on my new Ascend 128x kayak. The kayak has a dedicated location for mounting a trolling motor and Ascend describes it has having “Industry Standard 4 Bolt Pattern”.When I attempted to mount the new Newport Vessels Pontoon Trolling Motor Mount, the bolt hole patterns did not match up. Now I am forced to add an additional self designed modification to allow for attaching to the kayak and then to the mount. A lot of extra work.I will say this, the Newport Vessels Pontoon Trolling Motor Mount appears to be extremely sturdy and I plan on purchasing their 86 pond thrust saltwater trolling motor, once I am able to design and make the necessary modifications.Just a little frustrating and I am not sure what bolt hole design Newport was trying to match.
