There are pads on the feet of the Navigator that are loaded with springs that allow the sweep to 'walk' along the bottom of the pool. Tensioning screws are provided to allow adjustment. As delivered, the feet were stuck in the up position. Even after loosening the screws, the feet don't rebound, and the sweep can't move at all. Recommendation: spend a couple of bucks more and buy OEM parts.

Out of the bag I knew they were not going to work. The pads did not retract in and out, the pads were so poorly molded that they had to be trimmed. Then the plastic is so thin that the parts failed to work because they bowed. Why make this and offer it knowing it will not work! Yeah, in the pool it did nothing but sit still because all the movable parts failed to move.

These were replacement parts for a Hayward Navi 50 (Navigator Series) pool cleaner. I watched a brief DIY video on You Tube, and the disassembly/reinstallation process was very simple. The parts seem equal to OEM, and my pool cleaner now performs like new. Would definitely recommend! 17626

This KIT moved the cleaner slowly from day 1. It completely broke within 6 months. This Kit is complete trash, and I want my money back. Buy OEM from Hayw

The bracket on the rear part is to small to hold the spring into the slot. It works it's way out and locks up.
