Pool cover drain works well, but the pump bulb is made of thin plastic and is not sturdy. I do like the weighted design of the base of the pump as well as the long length of the tubing.

I have not yet tested this AQUAFLY Pool Cover Pump Siphon on my actual pool cover, as it is currently still winter here. But I did test it in the kitchen sink, and it works as advertised. Set it in the water, set the end of the hose lower than the pump body, squeeze the pump to prime the flow, and it works.
