they work great to get the big stuff to prevent the silt filter being gummed out with large debris

These fit my poolblaster pro fine, although they are a little shorter in length, it does not hurt much. After I received it and I opened the packages, I realized that these are not "sand and silt" filters - but they are more like "filter bag" - the title is misleading - or at least I got misled by it. When I re-read the title, I see it says filter bag compatible with ... sand and silt.I saw the sand and silt and assumed they were sand and silt filters - see my second picture comparing three different kind of filters. The left one is this item - you can easily see through it and so will any dirt you vacuum up. Only thing this will catch is leaves - everything else will go through unless you use another filter layer (I have filter socks that I can use with this, so I will keep them).But I wish they would just say filter bags compatible with poolblaster and remove the "sand and silt" from the title. Hope this review helps anyone looking for sand and silt filters.That said, they fit, and if you have and can use a second layer of filter like a filter sock, these will hold them.
