This is the exact same filter as what came on my Shure. It doesn't feel any different, quality wise. It is incredibly affordable. Fits. Does the job. Not much else to say, would recommend!

I wanted a replacement for my Shure MV7's windscreen/filter and figured I'd try to save a few bucks with this option. While this does fit on the microphone, only the base of the filter is the same thickness as the Shure MV7's manufacturer filter. The sides and tops are considerably thinner and compress under pressure where the manufacturer version does not. The thinner screen results in a lower quality than the original, but does still filter out many unwanted noises.
