I have a 2013 f150 with a snugtop canopy. I found the install easy enough but it is designed for cable unlock systems. I was able adapt my old interior mechanism handle with the lock system. This was despite no assistance from the very slow supplier. In addition they do not include blanks to then fill in holes from your old t handle. So make sure you find those as well. Finally if you don't want your canopy lid to unlock in the first stage of your unlock when using a double press to unlock driver and then second for full unlock. I suggest wiring it to the passenger side power lock. Thus you can have it as a one push full unlock or a double push on your fob full unlock for all doors including the lid. Customer service and support is poor, instructions aren't the best either. So watch a video online for your truck

I bought this handle along with the Pop & Lock kit for remote lock/unlock of the rear hatch window on a Leer XL100 cap. The handle fit perfectly where the Leer handle was previously mounted. The piece where the cables attach (which also enables unlocking the hatch window from inside the bed) was easily transferred from he Leer handle to the P&L handle - no need to cut and reconnect these cables. The P&L handle is very solid and seems to be of even higher quality than the original Leer handle.

The lock is great, fits perfectly but doesn't come with the clamps to attach the cables ! You can find them in any hardware store !

Fit perfectly in my ranch bed cap. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is the kit did not come with the crimps for the cables. Other than that it’s awesome

This lock was purchased as a replacement for a truck canopy/topper lock that I didn't have keys for. This lock installed easily and works and looks great.
