There are certain times of the year when the mosquitos are more fierce and more numerous than other times. We try so hard to keep them out, but inevitably, some always make it into the house and come around to bite us when we least expect it. At least I now have this pop-up mosquito net for my bed, so while I’m in there asleep and oblivious, they can’t get to me!This pop-up mosquito net is almost 79” by 41”. That’s a little smaller than our queen-size bed, which is 80” by 60”. It’s really best for one person, but can fit two skinny adults sleeping close together. It has a solid material around the bottom like a kind of pan so all the places your body is in contact with it, the mosquitos can’t bite through. The top is a very fine mesh that keeps the mosquitos out but allows for lots of air circulation. The pop-up wires give it good structure to keep its shape. It’s tall enough (29”) that you can sit up so you can easily access the zippers to get in and out.When you’re ready to fold it down, look at the folding instructions on the Amazon page. There are about 5 steps where you put the wires together and fold them down into smaller circles so you can then fit it into the small round bag. The bag is just 14” in diameter and weighs just over 1.3 pounds, so it stores in very little space. This would also be great to take camping or hiking or when travelling to tropical, buggy places! It’s such a relief to have this! I highly recommend it!

I am familiar with spring steel expanding devices through my use of Flexfill (and similar) products used in photo and video production. It was always fun to hand a rookie a 60" round reflector and task them with fitting it into an 20" sleeve. You too can have that fun learning experience!!!Just be careful. This thing can wallop you when you least expect it. Do not let go of it at any point without knowing what direction the spring release is going to send it.It is sizeable! I'm 6' and while there is a little snugness head to toe it's very flexible and amply wide... and tall (for sleeping). It's very lightweight too. Not as lightweight as a mosquito net alone, but this is a totally self contained net and support system that literally opens instantly and you can place anywhere you're willing to sleep on.You'll need to be careful as this is a lightweight material and netting. I suspect the greatest potential for damage comes from zipping it back into its snug carry bag. Be gentle and careful closing the zipper. It will be as durable as you are careful with it. By itself it will last until the nylon eventually rots or the spring steel rusts through. With your assistance it will get cut, torn or melted in an instance.The nylon construction means you can wash it down as needed. But, dry it soon afterwards as you don't want the spring steel to rust. Not only will it stain the fabric... it may eventually cause the steel to fail. There are ways to fix that instance (as I have with Flexfills) but they aren't for the novice handy person.$33 is a great price that gives you a handy all-in-one antibug device for use camping or just chilling outdoors in areas that are buggy. Don't expect safety from noseeum's though. But the things you can see-um will have a hard time getting to your juicy bod.I had every intention of doing a how to fold this video but just don't have time at the moment. Maybe in a couple of weeks I'll get it done. In the meantime here are some suggestions.First, following the folding instructions on the product listing page... don't go looking for the "red dots" on the item. There are no "red dots" What the manufacturer means is grab it where they show you the red dots are. And, yes... the folds come in increasing difficulty.The initial folding of the ends to the middle is easy.The next fold should be at the point where the smaller circle you make is 1/3 the overall size - the size the small circle needs to be to fit into the carry bag.The remaining fold will bring the larger portion down to the same size as the first small circle so that all three are the same size to fit in the bag. This final fold is going to be the most challenging. Just remember, there are only two ways to twist it. It may feel like it's going to break... and it will whack you if you let go.You can easily adjust the three circle sizes at this point by moving the twist points.You'll finally get the hang of it and amaze yourself and impress family and friends with fitting it back into the original carry bag.BTW, save the elastic band it came tied with and retie it once you have it folded correctly. It's like putting the pin back in the hand grenade. It's a lot less likely to bite you if you do.5 stars in my world. You nighttime sky may not be so bright.

It’s a good size cover up from bugs for at least two adults and one baby . My husband and I are about medium size people and we got two years old. We all fit in it nicely. I like how it protects from all kinds of bugs. Works very well. Easy to put together. It’s easy to fold and store or just take to travel trips especially if going places where bugs are highly prevalent. It folds to a travel size that doesn’t take much space at all. Zipped is very easy to manage and it looks great overall . Top mesh is very thin which help to keep air flowing through and it holds pretty sturdy in place. Price is very good for what you receive

Good quality mesh netting that is easy to store away when not needed. It compiles to take up prattle no room and folds out perfectly every time. Great for camping or whatever the case might be.

I’ve reduced the rating by one star simply because Incan’t see this holding up to much wear and tear. Don’t get me wrong, for what it is, it is impressive. It sets up easily, almost automatically, and folds down to a VERY compact size. It does provide full coverage and works well but seems to be made of extremely light material. The zipper is very small and the mesh doesn’t seem very durable. It is a nice design that may be undermined by too light material.
